A two-person project involving a narrative game that interacts with a physical book. Leveraging the strengths of procedural generation, the player forms stories to help KRIS, an AI, finish his novel. Stories are locked in by scanning pages from a physical book, which contains further material that reveals the tortured past of the AI. A custom visualization tool allows “debugging” of the procedural narrative by traversing paths and highlighting problematic areas.

The second, a cabinet which opens drawers containing objects and bits of text based on the pattern the viewer knocks upon it.
